You will get to experience the charm of Kathmandu City before moving to the peaceful Dolpo. There are various UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu, among which you will visit on the very next day of your arrival. First of all, you will visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Basantapur and Hanuman Dhoka. There are various famous temples in the vicinity of Durbar Square, due to which it has also gained the nickname ‘the Museum of Temple’. The intricate woodwork and exquisite idols will leave you awestruck. Another UNESCO World Heritage site that you will be visiting is the Swayambhunath Stupa, which sits on top of the small hill and you have to climb hundreds of stairs to reach.
